We are running the runDisney Springtime Surprise 10 Miler with Dragon Master Initiative to turn love into action and loss into hope, in honor of family who shaped our hearts forever. When I was 17, my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. He fought with incredible courage for three years, and even in the hardest moments, he taught us what strength and hope look like. Ten years later, my family faced cancer again when my big brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor and passed away shortly after.

We run to honor them both. Not just in remembrance, but in motion. Every mile is a promise to keep moving forward, to believe in progress, and to help fund research and treatments that gives families more time and more tomorrows.
