90 Miles from Needles is the only podcast focusing on environmental issues throughout the North American deserts. A project of the nonprofit Desert Advocacy Media Network, 90 Miles from Needles works to promote the idea that deserts are not wastelands, but are thriving, diverse, and yet imperiled environments that deserve protection.
