ArtPlace Mississippi (ArtPlace) empowers a team of highly skilled artists to engage constituents of all ages in the creative process. We believe that community-focused creative expression powerfully advances the development of individuals, communities, and places and has the power to bridge cultural, educational, racial, and socioeconomic divides. The ongoing work of ArtPlace is centered on our mission: creating access to the arts for everyone in Leflore County. The defining goal of ArtPlace is to create access to the arts so that all may be engaged in the arts, enriched by shared experiences, and empowered to create.
