Starting at 10 a.m. on Nov. 4, join us on a 1-1/2 hour walking tour to explore historic Columbia’s wells, springs, and industry. Learn how busy, vibrant, and smelly downtown Columbia was during the mid1800s. We will explore the former locations of Columbia’s early tanneries, mills, stockyards, and blacksmith shops. Your tour guide, Stephen Bybee, is a documentary photographer, an amateur historian, a novice tour guide and currently serves as the president of the City Historic Preservation Commission. some of the stories surrounding its founding and highlight its unique historic architecture.

Reservations are required for this FREE ticketed event. Donations are appreciated. Since CoMo Preservation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization as described in Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code: EIN 92-3600391. Donations can be made at any time on our website or text "1821" to 53555.
