Sports officials have been giving back to the community for years but never before have referees and umpires from all sports come together with the combined goal of making a difference. Conversations between professional officials have sparked a collective effort to make a greater impact through the founding of a non-profit called Sports Officials Care.

Sports Officials Care is in the startup phase with the financial backing of UMPS CARE Charities. This fund has been established to support the initial investment and creation of Sports Officials Care.

With a shortage of officials in all sports and the rise of physical and verbal abuse, officials know the time is now to strengthen and inspire the next generation of sports officials and to make positive change in the community.
