Help Bring Children to TomeCon 2026 – Featuring Keynote Speaker Gordon Korman!
TomeCon is an unforgettable, student-centered literacy conference hosted by Tome Society, bringing together thousands of students in grades 2–12 to celebrate reading, leadership, and creativity. This full-day event features author panels, student competitions, interactive breakout sessions, and exciting opportunities for young readers to connect with the books and characters they love.
We’re thrilled to announce that Gordon Korman—beloved author of over 100 middle-grade books including Tome Book Award Winners Slugfest, The Fort, and The Unteachables—will be the keynote speaker at TomeCon 2026! For many of our students, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet a literary hero and be inspired by his words in person.
TomeCon is designed to be accessible to all, especially students from low-income and Title I schools. Your generous donation will help us keep ticket prices low, cover travel and speaking costs for our authors, and ensure that every student has the opportunity to experience the magic of TomeCon—regardless of economic background.
Your donation will directly support:
Travel and speaking fees for authors
Access for all students—regardless of income—to attend the inspiring keynote, panel sessions, book signing sessions, and more
An unforgettable literacy experience that will motivate students to read, write, and dream big!
Join us in making TomeCon 2026 a truly magical celebration of reading. With your support, we can give students across the country the opportunity to connect with the authors behind the stories they love.
