At Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology, our athletes are putting in the work long before game day. Early mornings, late afternoons, and countless hours in the weight room are helping build stronger athletes, stronger teammates, and stronger leaders.

Our POB Lift-A-Thon is more than just a fundraiser, it’s a challenge that pushes our student-athletes to compete, improve, and represent Cardinal Pride with everything they have. Each athlete will showcase their strength and dedication by completing key lifts while raising support from family, friends, alumni, and our community.

Every donation helps provide:

Updated strength & conditioning equipment
Training gear and recovery tools
Team meals
Facility improvements
Opportunities for our athletes to compete at their highest level

Your support directly impacts the experience of every athlete in our program. These students work hard in the classroom, in the community, and in competition and now they’re asking for your help as they continue building something special at POB.

How this works !!!

Each athlete will complete designated lifts such as:

Bench Press
Squat
Deadlift
Power Clean

Coaches will monitor:

Proper form
Safety
Official rep counts/weights

Donation Options

Supporters can donate to their favorite athletes or to the program as a whole!

Flat donations (example: $25, $50, $100)
Per-rep or per-pound pledges (optional)

Examples:

$1 per rep
$5 per 10 pounds lifted

NOTE *****When checking out, there is an option to leave a "tip." You do NOT need to leave a tip for us to get 100% proceeds. Please note that this donation is tax deductible. You will get an email that includes the EIN which will serve as your receipt.

Your donation goes directly toward our team total. If you just want to donate that is perfectly fine. We accept flat donations as well! All donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for your support!
