Velo Kids

When you support Velo Kids, you’re helping local kids get outside, try something new, and build confidence. Every time a child gets on a bike with us, they’re learning skills, having fun, and doing something that’s good for their body and mind.

Our goal is simple: get more kids on bikes. We want every child to have the chance to ride, be supported by great coaches, and feel proud of what they can do.

With a monthly donation of $25 or more, your family gets early registration for all Velo Kids programs. Spots go quickly, and this ensures you’re at the front of the line while supporting more kids in our community.

Donations help us provide:

1. Summer Bike Camp and Adventure Club scholarships
2. Coaching staff and training
3. Bike Clubs with partnering organizations; West Ottawa Public Schools, Escape Ministries, Boys & Girls Club, ACTS, United in Christ Ministries, ARC and more!
4. Velo Kids Bike Library equipment and maintenance
5. Helmets, cones, safety equipment and more
6. Riding opportunities for kids who would not get the opportunity
7. Trail maintenance and advocacy
