Our tour will include a sneak peek at our construction site. Please keep in mind that clothing requirements must be met before entering the construction site to ensure everyone's safety on the tour. Please wear: long pants, short or long sleeve shirts, leather boots. Do not wear: tanktops, loose-fitting clothing, dangling jewelry, traditional tennis shoes, shoes with canvas tops, or thin or soft soled athletic shoes, open toed sandals, or dress shoes. We will provide hard hats and safety glasses for everyone touring. Directions & Parking: Rainier Valley Food Bank is located at 9021 Rainier Ave S. Please enter off of 50th Ave S at the corner of S Henderson St, next to the Bank of America parking lot. Our front gate along Rainier Ave S remains closed for construction. Due to construction, parking is limited. Street parking can be found on S Henderson St or along 50th Ave S. Our food bank is conveniently positioned between Rainier Beach Lightrail Station and bus lines 7, 9, 106, 107, and 987. Finding Your Tour Group: Please meet your tour group at our Food Village via our back gates on 50th Ave S. Staff wearing RVFB name badges will meet you at the entrance.
