Dear KH supporter,

We have some exciting updates to share with you, our community.

We are currently gearing up for Summer 2026 at Landy- Post-Yeshiva/Seminary Program. This is one of our most unique programs, as we give post Shana Alef students the chance to extend their meaningful year in Israel by helping shape children's lives at Neve Landy Children's Home.

The program integrates learning, ruach, and chessed in a way that perfectly encapsulates the mission of our organization- to empower Jewish teens and young adults to become leaders and help break the cycle of youth-at-risk, giving them tools, hope, and most of all friendship.

Our challenge- After Shana Alef, these young adults have the opportunity to return to the States and work to earn money, and encouraging our program as an alternative requires financial investment. Therefore, we try to subsidize this program in order to incentivize highly committed, dedicated individuals to join and ensure the program is a success. Therefore, we are sending you this email to find out if you’d like to support us in this mission.

Some program highlights from past summers-

Morning learning for our volunteers. One of the hardest parts about ending Shana Alef is being thrown back into an environment that may feel foreign after a year of highs. Maintaining a learning environment for our volunteers is crucial for setting the pace for the summer, one of both introspection within the framework of giving.

Afternoons and evenings dedicated to volunteering with the kids
