Founded 60 years ago in 1964, the UHMSA was established to provide a welcoming space for Muslim students at the University of Houston from all backgrounds and cultures. Our mission is to build a unified and empowered Muslim community through social events, education, public service, and outreach programs. We aim to strengthen our community while also educating and enlightening the broader public about the true teachings of Islam and the essence of being a Muslim.
