Long Beach Forward is a grassroots community based organization that creates a healthy Long Beach with low-income communities of color by building community knowledge, leadership, and power. 

Rooted in over 15 years of community organizing in Long Beach, we serve as a multicultural and multigenerational third space for community organizing and movement building where we can collectively advance racial, spatial, economic, and educational justice within the City of Long Beach. 

We do this because our vision is that race and income do not determine one’s future in the city–we seek to co-create a safe, connected, and healthy Long Beach rooted in belonging, liberation, and love.
