We are excited to welcome 250 of you to the gathering and looking forward to you connecting LBIS/Trinity people representing nearly every decade from the past 80 years! We are sold out and will not have additional tickets at the door. Location The gathering will occur in Chris Knutzen Hall in the Anderson University Center (AUC). A campus map picture is attached. The room is on the second floor, the same floor as the main entrance. A photo of the entrance to AUC is attached. The address is 12180 Park Ave. S, Tacoma, WA 98447. Parking Parking is free on the weekend. The nearest parking is across the entrance of Anderson University Center on Park Avenue. A campus map highlighting the location of AUC, parking, and walking paths is attached. Registration Once you arrive at the AUC, you will go to the hallway outside of Chris Knutzen Hall, where you will be greeted, checked in, and provided a name tag. Schedule The room opens at 1:00 p.m., and we will wrap up by 5:00 p.m. Most of the time together is unstructured, allowing you to mingle, snack, drink, and explore the archival materials. At 2:00 p.m., we will have a short program featuring a number of LBIS/Trinity students, a slide show, and group photos. 1:00 p.m. Gathering Commences (hors d’oeuvre & beverages available, bar open with beer and wine) 2:00 p.m. Program Begins in Chris Knutsen Hall 2:45 p.m. Group Photos 2:45 p.m. Gathering Continues 4:00 p.m. Bar Closes 5:00 p.m. Gathering Concludes Slide Show and Digital Memory Book There is still time to submit photos for the slide show. You can also provide an update for the digital memory book, which will be made available to the broader LBIS/TLC community after the event. Many cannot attend, and this is one way to remain connected! https://bit.ly/lbistlc-slide-show Photographer We will have a photographer capturing the gathering, and they will take group photos at 2:45 p.m. As they roam the room snapping pictures, you are encouraged to ask them to take photos of you and your friends. The images are for your enjoyment and will be available after the event. We will also have an instant camera so you can take home a Polaroid! Our Younger Guests It is lovely to have so many young people coming to the gathering. We plan to have several items for them to engage with. Archives In the room across from Chris Knutzen Hall, we will have LBIS/TLC archival materials for your peruse with the PLU Special Collections Librarian and Archivist.
