Tawana Cadien's Story
It is my distinct honor to serve a one of the Tri-chairs of our 2024 fundraiser, The Legacy Tea. This is such a very special celebration as we simultaneously are celebrating 25 years of Twelve Days Of Christmas. Can you believe it? Twenty Five years of continual service to families, children, communities, and schools is our story. I am blessed to serve alongside some amazing women with servant hearts! Please join me in this fundraiser that will allow us to continue to support and serve.

"Legacy Tea: Brewing Infinite Possibilities"
Cheers to 25 Years! The Houston Chapter of the Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. is excited to present the 3rd biennial “Legacy Tea: Brewing Infinite Possibilities” on Sunday, November 10, 2024, 2pm to 5pm. The venue is the Vesper Ballroom in Houston’s newest hotel, Thompson by Hyatt, located on Allen Parkway. The Thompson is considered an architectural marvel of mid-century design that overlooks Buffalo Bayou Park and the cityscape of downtown.
The Legacy Tea features a reception, delectable cuisine, Legacy Awards, and a message of inspiration from renown scholar, educator, leader in educational topics, president of multiple universities, and author, Dr. Ruth Simmons. Dr. Simmons knows first-hand the role of education in “brewing infinite possibilities.”
Join us to celebrate 25 years of phenomenal service with programs in literacy, family services, back-to-school readiness, food insecurity, holiday giving, emergency relief and senior care. Your support is vital for the continuation of our programs. Become a part of “Brewing Infinite Possibilities” by selecting from our various sponsorships.
We, the members of the Twelve Days organization, commit to leveraging donations toward serving families and children experiencing various challenges including death, illnesses, homelessness, joblessness, poverty, and diminished resources that may hinder an underserved child from becoming a “Child of Promise.”
