Although cancer is the #1 killer by disease of kids in our country; childhood cancer funding receives less than 4% from The National Cancer Institute.
CHKD believes that children with cancer deserve personal care that addresses their unique emotional, spiritual and educational needs as well as their medical ones. With a dedicated and highly trained team they help families coordinate the care for their child's needs and provides a safe and supportive environment before, after and during treatment.
