St. Benedict wrote in the Rule that every day should have some Lenten character. We try to be faithful to his admonition. St. Benedict understood in a profound way that the human beings, body and soul, are forever restless in this world. We are constantly in search of the God who created us, loves us, and calls us home to himself. Monks center their lives around prayer and work to glorify God, but also to remember that the only goal worthy of our dignity as human beings is God alone. We strive to do more with less, in order to provide more for others. We are unfailingly grateful for the generosity of benefactors who enable us to continue our witness. Thank you for your past support of the Abbey. Your donation directly supports the monastic community here, and as you consider your Lenten almsgiving, we ask that you please keep us in mind.
We hope you have a blessed and prayerful Lenten season. Thank you for your spiritual and material support of our Abbey and school. We will continue our prayers for you.
