Please help us to provide food for our neighbors! The need is great and we can’t keep food on our shelves and need to replace 3 of our 14 fridge/freezers, with the goal of raising enough money to buy a walk-in freezer when possible!

The Fishkill Food Pantry has been in operation since 1985. With rising costs of gas and groceries and changes to SNAP benefits, we are seeing more people than ever before who are in need of food in our community. We gave out 258,000 lbs. of food last year to over 11,000 individuals, 350 families a month! With these numbers and our own increasing operating costs we rely on support from donors like you to ensure we can provide plenty of food to everyone who calls or comes to our door.

Whether you would like to pay it forward, buy lunch for a child in need, provide an entire meal for a family, donate towards a much needed walk-in freezer or new stand alone fridge/freezer, or gift a birthday party in a bag for a child, we greatly appreciate any and all support.

We also need to increase our outreach to help families find us. Did you know that we often hear from elderly residents and neighbors with health issues who don’t have transportation or are not able to pick up food. Many older neighbors do not use the internet and do not know how to get access to food. Please keep an eye out on your older neighbors. We do deliver when there is no one in the family able to pick up food.

Our mission is to make sure no one goes to bed hungry in Southern Dutchess and Cold Spring. We have over 100 active volunteers, some of whom have been volunteering at the pantry for over 20 years! We are open 5 days a week (M/T/TH/F 9am-12pm & M/W 2:30-6pm). Please call us if you are in need of food during our hours of operation at 845-896-4546.
