Fernandina Beach Main Street is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and enhancing our historic downtown while promoting its economic vitality.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to keep downtown Fernandina Beach vibrant, welcoming, and economically strong, now and for generations to come.

Through your support, we’re able to:

Award $20,000 in Facade Grants to improve buildings/businesses in the district.
Host 10+ events strategically designed to promote downtown and 8th Street businesses for locals and visitors to our Island.
Provide weekly updates and information to 240 businesses.
Enhance and update directional signage throughout the historic downtown district.
Evaluate and make recommendations on streetlights, sidewalks, and landscape solutions.
Coordinate window decorating, landscape workdays, and clean-up projects to beautify the district.
Host quarterly educational workshops and networking events for businesses.
Install six new benches through the Memorial Bench program.
Promote our local small businesses with social media support.
And most importantly, creating a vibrant gateway that warmly welcomes residents and visitors!
