Fernandina Beach Main Street is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and enhancing our historic downtown while promoting its economic vitality.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to keep downtown Fernandina Beach vibrant, welcoming, and economically strong, now and for generations to come.

Through your support, we’re able to:

• Award $20,000 in Facade Grants to improve buildings/businesses in the district.

• Host 10+ events strategically designed to promote downtown and 8th Street businesses for locals and visitors to our Island.

• Provide weekly updates and information to 240 businesses.

• Enhance and update directional signage throughout the historic downtown district.

• Evaluate and make recommendations on streetlights, sidewalks, and landscape solutions.

• Coordinate window decorating, landscape workdays, and clean-up projects to beautify the district.

• Host quarterly educational workshops and networking events for businesses.

• Install six new benches through the Memorial Bench program.

• Promote our local small businesses with social media support.

• And most importantly, creating a vibrant gateway that warmly welcomes residents and visitors!
