"Like any parents, we’ve wanted to build a stable, joyful life for our child—but this season brought challenges we never saw coming. In May 2025, Kaitlyn underwent an unexpected appendectomy, and just as things began to settle, we learned in January 2026 that Kal’s mitral valve had ruptured, leading to repair surgery in March. Between hospital stays, recovery, and caring for our 2.5-year-old, Kade, it’s stretched us in every way.

Through it all, we’re incredibly grateful for the care we’ve received, for healing, and for the people who have supported us. However, the financial impact has been more than we can carry on our own, so we are asking for a little help.
