Love Heals is walking alongside Katriece and her son—will you walk with us?

On October 16th, Love Heals is coming to Charlottesville to host a Benefit Concert for Katriece at The Southern, and 100% of what’s raised will go directly to her and her son.

Meet Katriece:
She’s a single mom to an 8-year-old boy. In 2015, she was diagnosed with idiopathic gastroparesis—a condition that paralyzes the stomach. After years of ups and downs, her symptoms returned in full force in 2024. Today, she faces severe malnourishment, constant pain, and brain fog, all while navigating endless doctor visits without clear answers. Unable to work consistently, she does Door Dash when she can and is applying for disability.

Despite all this, Katriece’s heart is for others—she hopes this concert not only helps her get back on her feet but also encourages anyone else walking through hard things.
