Praise God for His divine timing! While I was going through a transition, I was introduced to Ibrahim (the founder of SHARP) and the work he's been doing through a dear friend. 

I was so amazed at the impact SHARP and The Empowering Children School were making for families and communities in Sierra Leone and knew I had to be a part of it. I started to volunteer and now serve on the board.

What makes SHARP unique is that they not only provide disaster relief for the communities in Freetown who are hit with horrific floods each year, but they are creating sustainable long-term housing, schooling and income solutions so that these families can rise above the uncontrollable climate circumstances.

This fundraiser is to help the community finish building a permanent structure which will serve as a multi-purpose educational and community hub that will last for generations to come. It will be used for education and schooling for children, agricultural training for adults and to teach technology skills necessary for modern education and job opportunities.

It's been amazing to watch the progress of setting the foundation for this structure and building the walls... Can you help us finish and Raise the Roof??
