Library Giving Day is approaching, and we need your help today. Please consider making a gift now to support the library and help us unlock a $5,000 matching gift.

Thanks to this generous match, every dollar you give on or before Library Giving Day, April 1, 2026, will be doubled — but only if we meet the full $5,000 goal. This is a wonderful opportunity to make your support go twice as far.

Library Giving Day also marks our annual Friends of the Library membership drive. A gift of $10 or more makes you a member for the year and helps ensure that our library continues to thrive.

Because of generous donors like you, the library offers a wide range of programs for all ages — arts and crafts classes, weekly story times, online and in-person fitness classes, special events, and so much more. Since celebrating our grand opening on January 10th, the library has already hosted weekly Mahjong games, a jazz concert and an Irish music concert, a soap-making workshop, a weekly chair yoga class, weekly story times, and more. In the months ahead, we look forward to supporting even more arts and craft classes, concerts, and programs for children and families.

After many years of dreaming and planning, our beautiful new library is everything we hoped for. New visitors stop in every day. In the first two months alone, library staff issued 52 new library cards! Teens are gathering in the teen room, families with young children are enjoying time in the children’s room, and adults are running into friends and neighbors as they browse the collection.

The Friends are proud to support the library’s programming and want to make sure it has the resources it needs to continue expanding programs and collections in the year ahead.
