Dear Friend,
As we close another remarkable year, LAMP (Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, INC.) stands in awe of how far we’ve come—and with your help, how far we can still go.
For over 40 years, LAMP has been a beacon of hope for men, women, and families experiencing homelessness in South Georgia. Through every challenge, your compassion has fueled our mission to provide shelter, stability, and self-sufficiency for those in need.
This year, your gift means more than ever.
Because of the loss of several key grants, we’re relying on community supporters like you to keep life-changing programs like Street Outreach and our Emergency Shelter for Families with Children going strong through 2026. Every dollar ensures that no family is turned away when they need help most.
Because of generous friends like you, LAMP has:
Provided over 45,000 nights of shelter this year.
Served over 50,000 meals through our Lunch at LAMP program.
Launched our Youth Rapid Rehousing Program to help young adults (18–24) secure safe housing and independence faster.
Partnered with Legacy Behavioral Health to bring on-site counseling and recovery services to residents.
Your gift helps move someone from the street to safety, from hunger to nourishment, from crisis to confidence. Together, we can keep the lights on—literally and figuratively—for families in South Georgia.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5
Give today to help us Light the Way Home for South Georgia Families.
Your donation—large or small—will make sure every person who walks through our doors finds warmth, safety, and hope this winter.
Because of you, hope has a home.
Thank you for helping us light the way forward.
