The Literacy Connection is a 501(c)(3 ) non-profit organization dedicated to helping adults in the northwest suburbs reach their literacy goals through one-on-one volunteer tutoring and small group instruction.

Adult learners are provided tutoring services free of charge in 16 northwest Chicago suburban communities: Algonquin, Bartlett, Carpentersville, Cary, East Dundee, Elgin, Gilberts, Hanover Park, Hampshire, Hoffman Estates, Huntley, Lake in the Hills, Schaumburg, South Elgin, Streamwood, and West Dundee.

Removing the barrier of language means open doors through improved employment, healthcare, children's education and much more. Every adult learner counts. Every dollar counts. Finish 2023 with generosity through supporting this vital work.
