King was supposed to be on his way to his forever home… but an unexpected surgery complication has put his journey on hold. 💔

Sweet little King recently went in for a routine neuter so he could be adopted. Unfortunately, he had an undescended testicle, which was much more invasive. What we expected to be a routine procedure for little King became much more complicated than anticipated. During surgery, complications and adhesions developed, leaving King unable to walk properly and causing him significant discomfort.

To prevent King from living in constant pain, he needed a second surgery to address the issues and give him the best chance at healing and

walking comfortably again. Unfortunately, this unexpected second procedure came with a much higher and more costly veterinary bill than we

had originally planned for.

But there’s something especially heartbreaking about this situation…

King already has an adopter waiting for him—and a little girl who is waiting to bring him home. 🥹👧🐱❤️

His forever family has been patiently waiting for their new family member, and we want nothing more than to see King healthy and safely reunited with the little girl who is already excited to love him.

As a rescue, unexpected medical expenses can be overwhelming, but we refuse to let a financial setback keep King from the happy ending he deserves.

We are asking our amazing supporters to help us cover King’s additional surgical expenses, follow-up care, medications, and recovery needs.

🐾 Every donation, no matter how small, helps. A $5 or $10 donation may seem small, but when our rescue community comes together, those little acts of kindness add up to something BIG.

King has a forever home waiting. He has a little girl waiting. Now he just needs a little help getting there. 👑❤️

Please consider donating or sharing King’s story and helping us get this sweet boy through his recovery and home where he belongs.
