A Pop-Up before the Bread & Puppet Circus

Suggested donation: $5 to $25 per person, sliding scale - no family turned away for lack of funds.

Join Brave Nature Collab and Singing Resistance New Haven for a community pop-up at Edgerton Park!

Starting at 4 PM, kids and families are invited to build upcycled instruments using string, cartons, tubes, jars, and pots and pans. We'll have plenty of materials on hand, but you're welcome to bring your own, too!

Then everyone gathers for a singing circle with New Haven's local Singing Resistance group,. Together we will learn "Sing Down the Walls," a song born out of children's voices at Dilley Detention Center and now sung across the country.

Come early, make something, raise your voice, and stay for the show. 🕊️

📍 Edgerton Park is located at 75 Cliff Street, New Haven, CT. The pop-up and performance are on the Great Lawn in the center of Edgerton Park.

Parking is along the streets just outside of the park. Please do not drive into the park.
