Little Flower Union Free School District is a Special Act Public School for students with special educational

needs. Little Flower School provides both residential and day placements for children in grades 3 through 12.

Our faculty and staff are specially trained to support the instruction and behavior of students with learning

and emotional disabilities, and students who are considered at-risk youth. As a Special Act school, our budget

is limited to tuition rates, we do not benefit from a tax base, and the school receives only nominal funding

through state aid and federal grants. Our students have access to very few outside resources. In an effort to

provide the most meaningful education possible, the Little Flower Educational Foundation was formed.

Registered and recognized as a charitable organization with the IRS under Code 501(c)(3), the Little Flower

Educational Foundation organizes several fundraising events throughout the year, posted to the Little Flower

UFSD website, littleflowerufsd.org, and has an open fundraising campaign all year long to accept general

donations. The raising of Foundation funds allows us to provide additional opportunities and activities for

our students such as educational experiences, recreational outings, field trips, rewards as part of our positive

behavioral intervention and support (PBIS) program, and daily incentives to engage our struggling students.

All funds raised go directly to the Foundation and are used solely for programming to benefit the children.

Our goal is to provide a positive academic and behavior program for our students to promote their success.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and yield tremendous benefit for the students at Little Flower School.

determination letter can be provided upon request, as donations are tax-deductible under IRC Section 170.
