I've been a Member Owner of People's since 2001, and a collective manager since 2021. I wanted to work here to support local food security during these times of pandemic and climate crisis, and I was also inspired by People's strong commitment to workers' safety and rights. I support this campaign because I believe that community efforts to bring workers back to a living wage are essential for the long-term stability and the future of People's Food Co-op, and because all workers deserve to be paid a living wage.
