About the Workshop: Learn about knife types and choosing the right one for you, safety in handling and carving, sharpening tools and techniques, wood choices, laying out projects, 6 useful carving strokes and finishes for completed wood projects. We will make pieces that help with fire starting, cooking and eating utensils, and perhaps a bird or animal figure. Food Included! Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday lunch. Plus coffee, tea and some snacks. Please also bring snacks to share! Camping Included! Come camp in our beautiful forest, there are plenty of flat places to put up a tent. Let us know if you would like to borrow a tent or if you need indoor accommodations.
