We're embarking on an essential project to rebuild a core section of our pasture fence, and we need your support to make it happen!

Bess & Bingo, and The Three Old Men (Frankie, Sonny, & Ralphie) deserve a safe and accessible outdoor space they can enjoy all year round.

Unfortunately, our current fencing is falling short of providing the secure environment they need.

Why a New Fence?

Our existing fence shows its age—rotting posts, broken corner braces, and an outdated hotwire system no longer make the cut.

With large gaps and weakened posts that can be easily uprooted, it's clear we need to upgrade our infrastructure to continue providing a safe haven for our animals.

What We Need

To achieve this, we've outlined a budget of $6,750 that will cover everything needed for a robust new fence:

Treated Fence Posts: 100 posts to ensure durability and longevity.
Cement: 200 bags to securely anchor every post and prevent the rot which has rendered the current fence unsuitable.
Barbed Staples: To firmly attach wire to posts, ensuring our fence stands strong against the elements.
Heavy-Duty Wire Rolls: 990 ft in total to enclose the pasture securely and create dedicated paddocks for the potbellies, Bess, Bingo, & future residents to enjoy!
Equipment Rental: Including a skid steer and auger for efficient installation. Worst case scenario, we've got a shovel. 👀

Our dedicated volunteers have agreed to donate their time and labor to build the fence!

This helps us save on costs and brings our community closer together in support of a shared mission.
