Earth Day Clean-up Project 2025 at Llano Del Rio Historical Site Fundraiser

This is our clean-up project this weekend! Please come if you can on Saturday, April 26, or camp out with us Friday night! This is a historical site with a fascinating history. Come on out and hear the story, you won't regret it!

 

In association with Positional Projects (positionalprojects.org) and #storiesandstewardship we are having the first Llano clean up project for 2025. It's celebrating Earth Day, April 25-26, an overnighter for those who enjoy camping. We are, of course going to cleanup the trash and do some restoration work. There are the remnants of a small illegal grow are are going to try to tackle so were going to need a small army of volunteers. Come and get your official High Desert Keepers tee shirt and a wonderful lunch after the end of the day, 9AM to 1PM when lunch is served. It is an amazing historic site and a history walk will take place after lunch, well worth sticking around for.

 

Also, since we have yet to locate a new tractor, we have to rent one for this project, it cannot be completed without one and it's expensive. If you can, please make a donation. It will cost us nearly $900, and that's just for one day. We cannot use restricted funds, (grant money), for this so we have to raise the money to pay for it. That will be changing soon but for now, money is tight. Please help if you can.
