Hello friends!

We are so excited about the future of Cross Creek Sandwich Shop! The journey of becoming the owners of Cross Creek was one we never could have imagined and certainly were not planning on. I've often said if there was anyone more unqualified to run a restaurant in the whole world it would be me! But the beautiful part of this journey is I have realized in the last two years, Cross Creek Sandwich Shop has very little to do with serving people food and everything to do with serving our community. We are the place people choose to gather to celebrate birthdays, to bring out of town family members to show off Conway, that kids pick to come eat after dentist appointments before returning to school. We are Faulkner County's favorite lunch spot and for that we will be eternally grateful.

For years I could remember talking to Chris about how we could squeak more space out of the 1,800 square feet we had to work with. The topic seemed daunting and like something we could just kick down the road for as long as possible. As we're expereinced this new phase of growth with catering, and more people coming in to eat with us on a daily basis we've reached the point where we can no longer put it off. We are bursting at the seams! In the kitchen, in the prep areas, in the dining room- everywhere! I'll never forget the day I watched a line of people waiting to order and one of our team members carrying food out to a table trying to navigate that line, like a bad train wreck I watched the bump as someone turned and the food went flying- it was then I knew we had to do something!

This video is all about sharing the big news that we are so excited about. We are EXPANDING! We are going to grow this little Conway favofrite so it can continue to be all that we see and more! As we move into the other side of our wall taking over an additional 1,800 square feet of Jenifer's Antiques we will officially have doubled our space!

Our plans are to add more space in the kitchen, build a pantry space that woudl make your grandma jealous, increase the prep areas for lunch time, add a dedicated catering prep space, gain a full time catering vehicle, open a bakery area for whole pies, cakes and dozens upon dozens of cookies and brownies to be available at a moments notice and most importantly give us breathing room between guests seated at the tables so they can enjoy their meals without sitting on top of their neighbors.
