We are raising money to fund freelance writers, photographers, and an art director to expand our coverage to include critical news and coverage of communities of color in Collin County/North Texas.

Since 2011, CFJ Legacy Group has worked within the minority community to create programs and events to raise awareness and eliminate disparities. The Local News Fund is a program administered by CFJ Legacy Group, a 501(c)(3) organization affiliated with Noir Lifestyles. The purpose of the program is to allow Noir Lifestyles to solicit tax-deductible donations from the community for journalism projects that focus on critical local issues in communities of color.
