Founded in 2023, Love's Legacy was born out of the need to address the ongoing shelter crisis in Southern California. Overcrowded, and underfunded, city, county, and regional shelters are euthanizing thousands of dogs every month.

Amanda Davis founded Love's Legacy in honor of her late bulldog, Love. We believe every dog deserve health, safety, and love.

Our rescue is entirely foster based, which means we rely on the support of our amazing foster families who give dogs a safe landing spot while we help find their forever homes.

Our fosters are based throughout California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado and more. We are actively looking for amazing fosters.

We are a small team dedicated to rescuing dogs that might not have another chance and giving them the love of a forever family.
