We’re back for our Annual Bingo Night and Golf Competition Fundraiser — and we’re inviting YOU to be part of something incredibly meaningful.

Founded by Ben Hay, a proud member of the Sandwich, Illinois community, along with his wife, Carrie, Luella’s Lodge was born out of love, loss, and the need for a healing space where families could feel seen, supported, and surrounded by nature’s peace. Each year, his hometown and surrounding communities show up with unwavering support — and we’re honored to continue that tradition together.

Luella’s Lodge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers a sanctuary for families grieving the devastating loss of a child. Through support groups and non-traditional holistic therapies, we help families navigate the unimaginable — not alone, but together.

Our serene log cabin retreat, nestled on 10 tranquil acres with a private lake, and hiking & biking trails, provides the kind of stillness and connection that’s hard to find in the busy world. Here, families find community, healing, and hope.
