Throughout the day, we'll share K-9 Chronicles: heartfelt stories of dogs' journeys to adoption, tales of those currently needing medical care, and updates on dogs who urgently need foster homes.

Right now, we’re facing the most challenging time in our history.

Shelters are at capacity. Dogs, especially seniors, are being surrendered in heartbreaking numbers. While some surrenders are unavoidable, many are simply due to changes in priorities, leaving these loyal companions with nowhere to go. Finding homes for senior dogs is incredibly hard, but we never give up on them.

On top of this, we’ve had 200 fewer adoptions this year compared to last year. With so many dogs waiting for loving homes, this decline in adoptions has been devastating.

Many rescues have closed their doors over the past few years. We refuse to let that happen to us. We are 100% volunteer-run, with no paid staff or fancy fundraising company. Every dollar you give goes directly to the dogs we save.
