The VADA program at Santa Barbara High School needs your support!

Support the Next Generation of Artists and Designers

The Visual Arts & Design Academy (VADA) at Santa Barbara High School is a place where young artists grow, explore, and discover their voices. Every year, our students step into the studio with big ideas and bold creativity. With your support, they gain the tools, mentorship, and experiences they need to thrive.

Did you know? As part of its matching grant agreement with the California Department of Education and the Santa Barbara Unified School District, VADA must raise one-third of its funding from the community every year.

This goal is achieved primarily through fundraising by the non-profit organization, Friends of VADA. The 2025-2026 Annual Campaign goal is to raise at least $100,000 through generous donations from VADA parents and other private supporters, combined with income from fundraising events and grants from philanthropic organizations.

Your Donation Provides:

· Essential art supplies that fuel imagination

· Full funding for the 9th-grade program (not supported by the State of California)

· Student events that showcase our students’ efforts and achievement, including the Spring Art Show and VADA Graduation

· Administrative resources that ensure every student is supported

When you give to VADA, you invest in a vibrant future for our students and in the cultural life of our community.
