STEMmas: Inspiring Curiosity, Restoring Hope

🌟 STEMmas: Inspiring Curiosity, Restoring Hope

Every child deserves the chance to wonder, to dream, and to discover.
Through STEMmas, the Kayaneh Legacy Institute (KLI) brings the joy of science and exploration to children in foster care, homeless shelters, and transitional housing programs during the holiday season.

Founded by Kanaan R. Moore, a 16 year old UWG dual enrolled student, scientist, and certified scuba diver, alongside his mother, Cheyenne Muhammad, an Army veteran, Entrepreneur, John Maxwell Certified Speaker and Master Certified Financial Coach—STEMmas was born from their shared belief that our ancestors were the original scientists, and that every child carries that same brilliance within.

Each STEMmas Gift Bag includes a hands-on science experiment kit, two inspiring books (one highlighting Black scientists and one National Geographic title), a motivational wristband reminding them to stay curious, and a personal letter and photo from Kanaan encouraging them to believe in their own potential. Every bag will be carefully packaged by volunteers with love and hope.

These are more than gifts—they are sparks of possibility for children who deserve to feel seen, valued, and inspired. Your donation helps us share that light.

A gift of $50 sponsors one complete STEMmas bag filled with science, inspiration, and hope.
A donation of $250 sponsors five children, bringing the joy of learning to an entire group.
A gift of $500 delivers STEMmas to a full shelter, ensuring every child there experiences the wonder of discovery.
And a donation of $1,000 helps us expand to new communities, reaching even more children this season.

Join us in inspiring curiosity and restoring hope—one child at a time.

100% of donations support the Kayaneh Legacy Institute’s youth programs.
