Our scouts are excited to help you display your patriotism. For an annual donation of $40, our scouts will display a 3x5 U.S. flag on your property for each of the following flag holidays.

Presidents’ Day

Memorial Day

Flag Day

Independence Day

Labor Day

Veterans’ Day

Our scouts will arrive in the morning to install the U.S. flag and return in the evening to pick it up and store it properly until the next flag holiday. The scouts will display your flag about 18 inches from your sidewalk and driveway on your lawn. Enjoy the feeling of coming home to a row of flags in your neighborhood as your neighbors also start to join the program.

Once you make payment, you will be added to the list for the next flag holiday and Scouts will show up to place your flag.

*If we encounter supply chain issues and cannot obtain a flag before the next flag holiday, we will make a note and extend your membership start date.

FAQ

Q - Is my $40 donation tax deductible?

A - Yes it is, once you place your order we will email you a letter for your taxes.

Q - Will the flag installation hurt my lawn?

A - No, the scouts will drive 3/8 inch rebar 1 foot into your lawn set back 18 inches from the sidewalk and driveway, and then place the flag pole over the rebar. At the end of the day, they will remove the flag and the rebar leaving you with a small hole that essentially helps aerate your lawn. Typically the sprinkler lines are along the edge of the lawn. If you know of hazards in that zone please notify us or leave a marker out there for us.

Q - Can I just keep the flag and display it myself?

A - Where is the fun in that? Our scouts are rewarded for their participation of installing and removing the flags on each flag holiday.

Q - Where does my $40 go?

A - All proceeds go toward scouts’ activities and dues. Scouts can use the funds to pay for summer camps, troop dues, and other scout camps like Sea Base, High Adventure Camp, National Youth Leadership Training, etc. No adults are benefitting financially from this program. We are all volunteers.

Q - If I have an event that would benefit from displaying lots of U.S. Flags can we use the flags for the day?

A - Absolutely, as long as it isn’t on one of our flag holidays listed above. One of our main goals is to support the community. Our scouts are always looking for public service opportunities to earn merit badges and rank advancements. Please reach out to us with your needs.
