We aRe HER is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young girls, women, and families through an innovative way, the art of culinary education. We use Culinary Arts as a vehicle to equip individuals with essential life skills, leadership development, and a pathway to sustainability, using the kitchen as a tool for growth. We believe that cooking is more than just a skill; it’s a powerful way to build confidence, promote healthy living, and strengthen communities.

Our programs serve a diverse range of participants, from young girls to adults, offering hands-on culinary classes that teach not only the art of cooking but also the importance of nutrition, food sustainability, and self-sufficiency. We focus on creating environments where participants can thrive, learn, and share their talents with others, fostering a sense of community and connection.

Beyond cooking, our initiative also emphasizes leadership and personal development. Through our culinary camps, workshops, and mentorship programs, we help participants build resilience, develop teamwork skills, and gain the confidence needed to pursue their dreams.

In addition, we offer specialized programs such as Queens in Training, where young girls learn life skills and leadership through hands-on workshops and sessions, including etiquette, and financial literacy. Advocating for themselves through our Let Her Talk podcast, providing a platform for young women to share their voices.
