For the past six years, Thrive Mahoning Valley has been joining dozens of communities across the country in celebrating Welcoming Week—a time to honor the connections that bring neighbors of all backgrounds together.

This year, we want to shine a light on you—the volunteers and leaders who pour your passion and energy into making the Youngstown neighborhoods stronger and safer. To celebrate, we’re hosting a Neighborhood Leaders Mixer on Friday, September 19, from 4–7 PM at The Varsity Club in Downtown Youngstown. We’ll have plenty of appetizers, soft drinks, and one adult beverage ticket per guest.

Space is a little tight, so for now we’re asking that each neighborhood group send up to two leaders. If we find we have more room, we’ll be happy to open it up. This is also by invitation only so please do not share this email or the reservation links. We do have a little flexibility, so please contact us if you have any questions.
