There’s a Simple Solution for a West African Village Without Clean Water: Us
$5,000 goal
Water is essential. Even our bodies are mostly water. Without water, we cease to exist. You and I are lucky. We’ve been born in a place where clean water is available everywhere. It’s all around us. It’s not expensive. We have so much of it that we water our lawns with it. We wash our cars with it. We even use it to transport our disposed waste. With clean water in such abundance, it is hard to imagine our lives without it.
More people die from dirty water worldwide than ALL forms of violence combined.
Unfortunately, millions of people around the globe do not have access to clean water. Many people have to walk for miles to get water. More often than not, the water they get is dirty. 1,700,000 people die each year from dirty water – more than all forms of violence combined. At the Gary Lipman Initiative, our mission is to provide local access to clean water. We are raising money to support clean water initiatives in communities that need access this life changing resource.
The benefits begin immediately. Lower infant mortality. Better health. Less time spent travelling to get water. More time for school. It is amazing to see what happens to a community that gets access to clean water.
We hope that you will join us as we partner with World Hope International on Clean Water Initiatives in Southwestern Africa. By participating in one of our events, volunteering, or making a donation, you are helping us provide the luxury of water to those who need it the most.
$1 = $2
Every dollar you donate will be matched by an anonymous donor.
