The Lancaster Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (LCPAAA) brings graduates of the Lancaster Citizen Police Academy together with the Lancaster Police Department, improving relations between the police department and the civilian community in all phases of law enforcement activities.

We are currently working with The Ohio University Law Enforcement Technology Program to host the ninth annual Kids & Cops Day. This event allows children the opportunity to interact with the law enforcement community, while learning about equipment and technology that law enforcement personnel use. Agencies throughout the state of Ohio will attend. Cruisers, helicopters, motorcycles, and S.W.A.T. vehicles will be on display. Kids can participate in games, police-related scenarios, and other fun activities, 2,500 people attended the event in May 2024!

All children will receive a bag of promotional and safety items, as well as a free t-shirt, from local organizations. In order for this event to be free to all children and their families, we are asking for your help in sponsoring this special event. We have three levels of giving, so you can choose the gift that best suits your organization:

BRONZE: $50.00 - $149.00 - you will receive social media attention.

SILVER: $150.00 - $299.00 - you will receive social media attention, and a spot on the banner that will be on display the day of the event.

GOLD: $300.00 - $500.00 - you will receive social media attention, a spot on the banner that will be on display the day of the event, and your name/logo on the t-shirts.

We are a 501(c) 3 organization (FEIN number 26-1215570). Please let us know if you need a W-9 form. Donations are due by April 10, 2025, if you would like to be on the t-shirts or banner. Please make checks payable to LCPAAA and mail to LCPAAA, c/o Lancaster Police Department, 130 South Broad Street, Lancaster, OH 43130.
