The Olive Hill Community Economic Development Corporation (OHCEDC) is launching the 'Economic Mobility' campaign, a powerful initiative designed to uplift low-to-moderate-income families, minorities, veterans, and other underserved populations in Burke, Caldwell, Catawba & McDowell Counties, North Carolina.

Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty and create pathways to financial independence through targeted programs that include financial literacy education, affordable housing support, small business development, and community revitalization efforts.

Your contribution to this Givebutter fundraiser will directly support:

1. Financial Literacy Workshops: Providing essential education on budgeting, credit management, and savings to empower families to take control of their financial futures.

2. Affordable Housing Assistance: Helping individuals and families achieve homeownership and maintain stable housing through counseling, down payment assistance, and foreclosure prevention services.

3. Small Business Development: Offering entrepreneurs and small business owners the tools, resources, and mentoring they need to start, grow, and sustain successful businesses.

4. Community Revitalization Projects: Including the Unity Corner Historical Park, which aims to celebrate the history and contributions of local Black neighborhoods, fostering a sense of identity and pride within our community.
