As many of you know, my incredible mother is a strong, loving, supportive woman who rarely complains and is somewhat skeptical of social media. Since her battle with cancer began when I was in high school, she has had countless ongoing bouts and consequences. She quietly and privately fights for cancer research and has volunteered endless hours supporting and counseling other sufferers. Next month, I will be climbing Mt. Adams in Washington State as a fundraising effort for cancer research. On behalf of Lana Greenberg, I am asking you to please donate by clicking the link below. Thank you!
My brother, Larry, came up with this as a way to honor and celebrate our mom Lana Greenberg, her sister Sheila Margolis, their mother Ida Friedman and all of the too-many women and men who have battled breast cancer. Larry chose a mountain-climbing challenge because, well, he's not really into exercise and it will be torture. I am choosing to join him because nobody and nothing gets to torture my little brother unless I am part of it! Also, despite being asthmatic and suffering Raynaud's syndrome (my hands get numb and purple even in 75 degree temps), I can help drag him when he poops out.
Please consider donating towards my climb - all donations go towards breast cancer research.
