Shrink, She Said, Shrink Again- Post Production Fundraising

Ashes Artist Collective's upcoming short film, Shrink, She Said, Shrink Again (written and directed by Kyra Moskowitz) is the story of Bella, a plus size student, navigating her own relationship to weight and eating disorders, while under the influence of both her doctor's medical advise and also her friends' unconsciously negative body talk, steeped in diet culture and the eating disorder culture so prevalent amongst college students.

Our film is in the final stages of editing and post-production, with an exceptional all-female cast and crew. We are looking to raise funds for editing tools that will elevate our storytelling. We are aiming to release the film for Fall indie film festival submissions.

About Ashes: Ashes Artist Collective (AAC) is an artist collective dedicated to creating space and opportunities for young creatives in the pandemic and beyond. We are collapsing the space between artists around the U.S. and revitalizing the industry by collaborating both digitally and (safely) in-person to create filmed content.
