MDE School is a not-for-profit special needs school. The school helps children with special needs who cannot be successfully served in a traditional educational setting. MDE School helps children with learning disabilities reach their full potential by providing individualized education, enrichment, and life skills training in a nurturing environment.

MDE School serves K-12 students with varying disabilities, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, communication disorders, and learning differences.

We also offer MDE Vocational Academy for students aged 16 and above who are transitioning into adulthood and want to focus on life and job skills training.

MDE School was founded in 2009 by Mindy Elkan, who currently serves as the Executive Director.
