About Nite In Hand

Nite In Hand is a community-driven, substance-free graduation night celebration dedicated to keeping Daniel Hand High School seniors safe on one of the most important — and historically highest-risk — nights of their lives. Founded in 1989 as part of the national Project Graduation movement, Nite In Hand reflects a simple but powerful belief: every graduate deserves to celebrate this milestone in a safe, positive, and memorable environment.

Each year, the event transforms Daniel Hand High School into an all-night celebration filled with entertainment, activities, food, and surprises — all provided at no cost to graduates. Nite In Hand is planned and run entirely by parent and community volunteers and is funded solely through donations from local businesses, families, and supporters.
