Story
Please join us for The Magic Garden Brunch on Sunday, June 11 from 10 AM -12 noon. The brunch will feature champagne, a crepe bar, a silent auction and more!
This brunch kicks off The Magic Garden Flower Bloom at Glen Echo Park, where the back corner of the park will be transformed into an interactive art installation, featuring thousands of crocheted flowers handmade by craftspeople from around the country.
All proceeds will benefit Glen Echo Park and the Beeler Fountain project, a three-year volunteer effort to restore the fountain and build a garden of native trees, plants and flowers in that corner of the park.
This project honors the life of Stephanie Beeler, our friend who spent her career at the National Park Service and US Geological Survey, and who worked every day to make the world a better place.
The Magic Garden Flower Bloom will be open to the public on Sunday, June 11 from 12-6. Please note that due to park service regulations, the brunch will close promptly at 12 noon.
Attire: 70's Paris Garden Chic
Host Committee: Barbara Martin, Michelle Jaconi, Laura Manatos, Erin McCahill, Andrea Rinaldi, Jayne Sandman and Mary-Frances Wain
