It is amazing how time slips so quickly through our hands…And yet, thanks to people like you, we accomplish a lot and change the lives of so many girls, women and families in Bolivia.

I feel the weight of today’s increasingly complex and unpredictable geopolitical landscape—and frequently feel the need to step back from the news just to catch my breath.

At those times, I have to focus on the good news that makes me feel grateful for what we can do together.

In 2026, together, we will:

· Build 60 ecological composting latrines for 60 families

· Bring a clean water system to a village of nearly 400 people

· Partner with the University of Minnesota School of Nursing on another important research project

· Launch a comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health program reaching 20,000 people through schools, health centers, adolescent centers, and youth empowerment groups—while advancing research and expanding access to women-centered contraceptive care

· Support hundreds of patients living with chronic diseases by equipping them with tools to better manage their health

· Begin a new two-year initiative to train 40 community health workers serving 18 communities

We may be small, but we are mighty—and the impact is real.

On May 31st, we will host our 23rd annual fundraiser with the goal of raising critical funds to sustain and grow this work. This one event almost completely funds our whole administration, marketing and fundraising efforts, so it is critical. For those who can’t attend, we invite you to take part by helping us to create a matching gift challenge to inspire those who will be there.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 in matching funds to inspire and to help us all to know that we are in this together.

Every gift—no matter the size—brings us closer to that goal and ensures this important work continues.
